• Account Information: Your name, email address, and authentication details (handled securely by Firebase Authentication).
• Content You Create: All photos, videos, audio files, notes, and family tree information you upload or create. This content is yours and is private by default.
• Usage Data: Anonymous data like storage usage, feature interaction, and crash reports. This helps us improve app stability and functionality.

Your data is used solely to provide the Memvori experience you signed up for.

• Store, display, and organize your memories.
• Sync your content across your devices.
• Enable features like sharing, backup, and legacy succession.
• Communicate with you about your account and service updates.

We do not sell your data. We only share information in very limited, necessary circumstances.

Your personal data and memories are not for sale. We do not share your information with advertisers or data brokers. We only share data with trusted third-party services essential for operating Memvori, such as:

• Cloud Infrastructure: Firebase/Google Cloud for secure data storage and authentication.
• Payment Processors: Stripe or regional providers to handle subscriptions. We do not store your full payment details.
• Email Services: Resend for sending transactional emails like password resets or account notifications.

These partners are legally and contractually bound to protect your data.

5. Security

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your memories.

We take the security of your digital heirlooms seriously. All your data is encrypted in transit (using TLS/SSL) and at rest on our servers. We use Firebase, a Google-backed platform, which provides robust, industry-leading security for infrastructure, data storage, and user authentication. While no system is 100% impenetrable, we take all reasonable measures to safeguard your information.

6. Data Retention

Your data is yours. We won't suddenly delete it if a subscription lapses.

If your paid subscription ends, your account will be reverted to our free plan. Your data will **not** be immediately deleted. We will notify you if you are over your storage limit, giving you a reasonable grace period to either export your data or upgrade your plan. If you choose to delete your account, your data will be permanently removed from our systems after a short safety window to prevent accidental deletion.

You have control over your data.

You own your content. At any time, you have the right to:

• Access and download all of your data.
• Correct any inaccurate personal information.
• Delete your content or your entire account.
• Manage who has access to your Family Vaults.

8. Children's Privacy

Memvori is designed for users 13 and older, but memories often include children.

Memvori is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without parental consent. As a family platform, you may upload photos and stories about your children. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to share this content. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information about a child without consent, please contact us immediately.
