Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Memvori and explain your rights and responsibilities. By using our service, you agree to these terms.

1. Overview

This is an agreement between you and Memvori.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Memvori application, websites, and services ("Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully.

2. Your Account

You are responsible for your account's security.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Memvori. You are responsible for safeguarding your account password and for any activities or actions under your account. We encourage you to use a "strong" password (a password that uses a combination of upper and lower case letters, numbers, and symbols) with your account. Memvori cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with the above.

3. Your Content

You own all the memories you upload to Memvori.

You retain full ownership of all photos, videos, audio recordings, text, and other content you submit to the Service ("Content"). By uploading Content, you grant Memvori a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, display, reproduce, and distribute your Content solely for the purpose of operating and providing the Service to you and those you share your Content with. You are responsible for your Content and ensuring you have the rights to use it.

4. Family & Sharing

You control who can see and contribute to your Family Vaults.

Memvori allows you to create shared spaces called "Family Vaults" and invite others ("Members") to join. As the owner or administrator of a vault, you are responsible for managing member access and permissions. When you invite someone, you are granting them access to view and potentially contribute to the content within that vault. Be mindful of who you invite, as they will have access to the memories you've shared.

5. Subscriptions & Billing

Paid plans unlock more features and storage, and they auto-renew.

Some parts of the Service are billed on a subscription basis. You will be billed in advance on a recurring and periodic basis ("Billing Cycle"). Billing cycles are set either on a monthly or annual basis, depending on the subscription plan you select. At the end of each Billing Cycle, your Subscription will automatically renew under the exact same conditions unless you cancel it or Memvori cancels it. You may cancel your Subscription renewal at any time. All fees are non-refundable.

6. Legacy & Ownership

Our Legacy features help ensure your vault is preserved for future generations.

Memvori offers features to designate "Guardians" and "Heirs" for your vaults.

  • Guardians are trusted individuals you can appoint to help manage a vault, including taking over subscription payments to ensure continuity.
  • Heirs are individuals you designate to inherit ownership of your vault in the event of your passing. This transfer is subject to a verification process to ensure it is legitimate.

You are responsible for keeping your Guardian and Heir designations up to date. This system is designed to fulfill our mission of preserving your story, but it relies on your active participation.

7. Termination

You can stop using Memvori at any time. We can also suspend accounts for violations.

You are free to stop using our Service at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, without prior notice or liability. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. If you wish to terminate your account, you may do so by following the instructions within the app or by contacting support. Please refer to our Data Retention policy for information on what happens to your data after termination.
